The principal participants in Metavid are Aphid, Michael Dale and Professor Warren Sack. Michael and Aphid collaborated on Metavid for their MFA thesis project in the Digital Arts and New Media program at University of California Santa Cruz. Their completed thesis papers are available on this site. The project is currently affiliated with UCSC's Social Computing Lab.

Aphid and Michael are now supported by the Sunlight Foundation in their continued development of the the metavid project.

Under Advisement

The Metavid project has received advisement and support from: Jeff Ubois and Carl Malamud

While Metavid was an MFA thesis project it was under the advisement of Professor Warren Sack, Margaret Morse, Sharon Daniel, Jim Whitehead, and Isabel Reichert.
