A guided Tour
This quick tour will guide you through the different ways of accessing the metavid archive.
Searching
The search bar on the left lets you query the transcripts for a given phrase. Lets try "peanuts". Here you get a list of results you can expand a given result with the triangle button allowing you to play the clip inline. [More on advanced searching]
Transcript View
If you click on the [transcript icon] You will go to the transcript editor/viewer. This allows participants to easily view and improve transcript accuracy. The bar of colors represents a timeline for the given requested range. You can jump within that range by moving your mouse over the timeline. You can adjust the time in video by editing the url time range request, clicking next or previous button at the top of the page, or clicking stream tools -> navigate (in the lower left). If you find a transcript segment that is not accurate you may want to update that transcript. See the [participating page] for more information about improving transcripts editing conventions.
